SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters have warned that the Islamic Republic will not tolerate aggression from any source.
According to Saednews, Iran has issued a strong warning to regional countries, saying it will respond forcefully to any use of their territory, airspace, or territorial waters for US military operations against Iran.
The warning came in a joint statement released on Monday after Iran targeted US military bases in the UAE and Jordan in retaliation for American airstrikes on Iran’s Larak Island.
Iranian authorities said the US military continues to use the territory and airspace of some regional countries to conduct attacks against Iran and strike Iranian military facilities. They noted that these countries had previously stated that they would not permit their territory, airspace, or territorial waters to be used for US military action against the Islamic Republic.
The statement stressed that Iran respects the sovereignty of neighboring countries but would not accept any form of aggression.
“We have demonstrated in practice that, while respecting the national sovereignty of our neighbors, we will never tolerate any form of aggression and will respond with much greater force,” the statement said.
It added that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Islamic Republic of Iran Army had demonstrated this position again through their latest actions.
Iran further warned that the US military must leave the region and cautioned countries facilitating American military operations against Iran that they could face retaliation.
“The aggressor US military has no choice but to leave the region,” the statement said, adding that Iran’s Armed Forces, including the IRGC and Army, would respond by targeting the source of any aggression.
The statement also warned Iran’s adversaries not to test the determination of the country’s armed forces or the resilience and courage of the Iranian people.
