During the call, Erdogan stressed the importance of maintaining negotiations with Iran and continuing diplomatic efforts to resolve issues and ease tensions across the region.
The Turkish president also referred to the Mecca agreement between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, describing it as a sign of a strong position aimed at supporting regional security.
