SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Parliament has approved a bill aimed at countering infiltration by foreign intelligence services, governments and entities. The measure received 183 votes in favor during today’s parliamentary session.

According to SaedNews: Abbas Goudarzi, spokesman for the Parliament’s Presiding Board, said lawmakers considered a bill addressing infiltration by foreign intelligence services, foreign governments and foreign entities during today’s public session.

He said the relevant parliamentary committee first presented its report on the proposed legislation. Lawmakers then discussed the measure, with both supporters and opponents expressing their views on the plan.

Goudarzi said the bill was ultimately approved by Parliament, receiving 183 votes in favor.
