SAEDNEWS: US Military Presence Fuels Regional Insecurity, Says Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf
According to Saednews, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, responded to recent comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, stating that the regional situation follows a simple principle: "Either everyone benefits, or no one does."
In a statement shared on X, Ghalibaf said that if Iran is blocked from exporting its oil, other countries in the region should not expect to continue their oil exports without consequences. He also argued that if Iran's national security is threatened, regional infrastructure cannot be considered secure.
Addressing the Strait, Ghalibaf said lasting security can only be achieved without the presence of U.S. military forces. He added that conditions in the waterway will not return to the way they were before the conflict, emphasizing that Iran has consistently maintained this position.
