SAEDNEWS: U.S. forces reportedly carried out military strikes for the tenth consecutive night, targeting civilian and infrastructure sites in several Iranian provinces. According to the source text, Iran's armed forces responded with retaliatory military action.
According to Saed News' political desk, Iranian authorities reported that alleged U.S. military strikes against Iranian territory continued for the tenth consecutive night. According to the report, attacks targeted locations in western, southern, and southeastern Iran.
The report states that telecommunications infrastructure in the Abdanan highlands of Ilam Province, mountainous areas near Shiraz, and coastal and port regions in Qeshm, Bandar Abbas, Bandar Lengeh, Sirik, Chabahar, and Konarak was affected. Local officials reportedly said that while some infrastructure sustained damage, there were no casualties because the targeted sites were located away from residential areas. In Bushehr, officials stated that sounds heard in the area were the result of active air defense systems rather than direct strikes.
In response, Iran said its armed forces launched the eighteenth phase of an operation referred to as "Saegheh" ("Lightning"). According to the report, the Iranian Army's Ground Force used surface-to-surface missiles against Arifjan Base in Kuwait and its HIMARS systems. It also claimed to have targeted administrative buildings, helicopter hangars, and areas housing U.S. personnel at Ahmad al-Jaber and Ali Al Salem air bases using attack drones.
The report further claimed that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out coordinated missile and drone strikes, destroying a Patriot air defense system in Al Riffa, Bahrain, as well as another U.S. air defense system and radar installation in Muharraq. It also alleged that long-range radar and communications facilities used by the U.S. military in Kuwait were struck.
Additionally, the report claimed that in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, a U.S.-affiliated naval vessel attempting to transit the area using deceptive tactics was hit by an explosion, caught fire, and was forced to halt operations. The report concluded by stating that Iran views these actions as a demonstration that any attack on its territory would receive what it described as a decisive and forceful response.
