SAEDNEWS: Iran said that after seven consecutive nights of U.S. air and missile strikes, it launched the 13th and 14th phases of Operation "Saegheh," targeting U.S. bases in Jordan and Kuwait and hostile naval vessels. Iranian officials claimed the operation led to the end of the latest round of attacks.
According to Saednews reports, the seventh consecutive night of alleged U.S. airstrikes on Iranian territory targeted several regions, including Hormozgan Province (Bandar Abbas, Sirik, and Qeshm), Bushehr, Khuzestan, and areas surrounding the city of Yazd. The reported missile and air attacks allegedly struck both military and civilian infrastructure, causing damage to key facilities such as the Shahid Mirzaei transportation tunnels, the Shour River bridge in Hormozgan, and desalination water pumps at the Bonji Pier in Jask County. The reported damage disrupted water supplies to several nearby villages.
In response, the Iranian military announced what it described as the 14th phase of Operation Saegheh (Lightning). According to Iranian reports, attack drones targeted ammunition storage sites at the Al-Adiri Camp in Kuwait, command buildings and ammunition depots at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, and fuel storage facilities at Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan.
Iran also stated that during the 13th phase of Operation Saegheh, its navy launched a coastal cruise missile at what it described as a hostile U.S. naval vessel in the northern Indian Ocean, reportedly forcing the ship to withdraw. Additionally, Iranian officials claimed that the country's integrated air defense system shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone over Bushehr Province.
According to the reports, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) later announced the end of the seventh night of military operations against Iran. Authorities are reportedly assessing the extent of the damage in the affected areas, while emergency response teams are working to restore essential services and repair damaged infrastructure.
