SAEDNEWS: As Iran’s response to U.S. attacks continues, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in separate operations, targeted U.S. military command centers, air bases, air defense systems, logistical infrastructure, and naval assets with missile strikes, drone attacks, and naval operations.
According to a report by the political service of the Saed News analytical website, Iran’s armed forces have carried out a series of operations against what they described as U.S. military positions and interests in the region.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reportedly conducted several separate operations targeting military, logistical, and support facilities belonging to U.S. forces.
In the first reported operation, the Iranian Army claimed that it used attack drones to target U.S. military infrastructure in Kuwait, including communication systems, fuel storage facilities, Patriot air-defense systems, control towers, and ammunition warehouses.
The report stated that these sites were located at one of the main U.S. military deployment and support centers in Kuwait, which plays a role in coordinating military flights, logistical support, fuel supply, and air-defense operations in the northern Persian Gulf region.
The report also claimed that Iran’s Navy responded to U.S. missile attacks against Iranian military facilities by launching cruise missiles at a U.S. naval vessel operating in regional support and maritime security missions.
The IRGC stated that U.S. forces attempted to use certain vessels to carry out unauthorized movements through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the report, two large oil tankers allegedly disabled their navigation systems and ignored repeated warnings from the Strait of Hormuz security control center. The report claimed that after threatening maritime security, the vessels were struck and disabled.
Following this incident, the report said that U.S. forces launched airstrikes against coastal stations and other military locations in southern Iran.
In response, the IRGC Navy reportedly carried out the first phase of the second wave of an operation named “Nasr 2,” using the religious slogan “Ya Latharat al-Hussein.”
The report claimed that Iranian forces targeted and destroyed several weapons-support warehouses, a satellite communication center, and U.S. personnel accommodation facilities at the Jafair base in Bahrain using missiles and combat drones.
Jafair base was described in the report as a major U.S. Navy facility in Bahrain and an important support center for the U.S. Fifth Fleet. The base supports command operations, communications, personnel housing, and naval activities in the Persian Gulf.
During the second phase of the “Nasr 2” operation, the IRGC Aerospace Force and naval units reportedly conducted missile and drone attacks against U.S. Fifth Fleet facilities in Bahrain.
The report claimed that fuel storage facilities were set on fire and that Patriot radar systems, naval air-control radars, and C-RAM early-warning radar systems were damaged or destroyed.
The U.S. Fifth Fleet is responsible for naval operations in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Red Sea, and parts of the Indian Ocean. The Patriot and C-RAM systems are among the defensive technologies used to counter missile, rocket, and drone threats.
The IRGC also claimed that a control and monitoring center for unmanned boats was completely destroyed. The center was described as responsible for directing unmanned vessels used in surveillance and maritime operations.
The report stated that, during the early hours of the day, Iranian forces launched the third phase of the second wave of “Nasr 2” operations, targeting a U.S.-controlled air base in Jordan with ballistic missiles.
The base was described as an important U.S. operational and support facility in the region and has reportedly been used in recent years for fighter aircraft, drones, reconnaissance aircraft, and air-support missions.
According to Iranian military sources cited in the report, the base had also been used in recent operations against Iran, and its key facilities and U.S. military positions were targeted by ballistic missiles.
The operations were reported as taking place after Iranian military officials had previously warned that any U.S. actions against Iran’s national security and interests would face a “decisive and proportionate response.”
The report concluded that the range of targets identified by Iran includes command centers, air-defense systems, logistical infrastructure, air bases, military vessels, and support facilities linked to U.S. forces in the region.
