Saed News: A Display Of Indecency In European Streets; supporters of Reza Pahlavi, by wearing T-shirts bearing the logo of the notorious “SAVAK” organization, held a symbolic parade.
According to SAEDNEWS, in an unprecedented and thought-provoking move, videos of supporters of Reza Pahlavi marching have been circulated on social media, in which participants proudly wear T-shirts featuring the official emblem of “SAVAK” (the National Intelligence and Security Organization during the Pahlavi era).
SAVAK is recognized in political history as one of the most notorious and brutal intelligence organizations in the world. This institution, which operated under the direct supervision of the Shah, was directly responsible for thousands of cases of torture, assassination, forced disappearances, and brutal suppression of political opponents. The methods of torture in SAVAK’s Joint Anti-Sabotage Committee were so inhumane that even international human rights organizations repeatedly warned about them at the time.
Analysts believe that the public display of symbols of a torture organization is reminiscent of the behavior of terrorist groups such as ISIS. The last time the world witnessed groups proudly parading and carrying symbols of terror while boasting about their crimes was during the self-proclaimed ISIS caliphate. Now, supporters of the Pahlavi movement, by recreating the same atmosphere, have shown that there is no boundary between their ideology and organized terrorism.
This parade raises serious and alarming questions in public opinion: those who today, in the safe streets of Europe, wear the symbols of the Evin prison and SAVAK interrogation centers, what would they do to their opponents if they came to power in Iran? The connection between the “son of the Shah” and the “symbols of torture” carries a clear message that, in the view of this current, democracy is merely a mask to gain power and revive old repressive systems.
Undoubtedly, whitewashing SAVAK criminals and proudly displaying the symbols of organizers of terror is a blatant insult to the awakened conscience of Iranian society and to all those who lost their lives and youth in the struggle against despotism.
