Iran Asserts Its Resolve to Resist Aggression and Urges the World to Condemn It

According to SAEDNEWS, On Monday, Araqchi spoke with his Japanese counterpart, Toshimitsu Motegi, in a telephone conversation about recent regional developments following the military actions by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, and their broader regional and global consequences.

Highlighting the criminal nature of the attacks, Araqchi criticized the international community’s passive response, warning that such complacency establishes a dangerous precedent in global affairs.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to confront the military aggression of the US and the Zionist regime and will defend itself. Nonetheless, this does not remove the responsibility of the international community, including Japan, to openly condemn these attacks and the war crimes committed by the aggressors,” Araqchi said.

He emphasized that while maintaining good relations with neighbors is vital for Iran, the country cannot tolerate attacks from US bases in the region. Iran’s defensive actions are aimed at the source of the aggression, not neighboring states.

Araqchi further noted that the conflict affects not just Iran but the entire region, with critical situations—including in the Strait of Hormuz—arising from the military actions of the US and the Zionist regime.

In response, the Japanese foreign minister expressed condolences and solidarity with the Iranian people, while voicing concern over the ongoing crisis and its potential escalation. He stressed the importance of efforts to reduce tensions and noted that he has been engaging with regional counterparts and will continue to pursue diplomatic measures in this regard.
