SAEDNEWS: Over 800 Palestinian Teachers Killed in Gaza Since October 2023, Education Official Reports
According to Saednews, Ahmad al-Najjar, head of Public Relations at the Palestinian Ministry of Education in Gaza, said on Sunday that Israeli forces continue to target education workers across the Gaza Strip.
He pointed to the deaths of several teachers in recent days, describing them as part of continued attacks on educational personnel.
According to the ministry’s latest figures, more than 800 male and female teachers have been killed, while over 3,300 others have been injured since the war began in October 2023.
The ministry urged the international community, United Nations agencies and human rights organizations to take immediate action to halt attacks on education personnel, ensure accountability, and protect civilians and educational workers.
