According to Saed News Agency, citing Young Journalists Club, a British woman gave birth only 24 hours after finding out she was pregnant.

Molly Gilbert, a 25-year-old woman, said she had never felt pregnant and only discovered her condition on Wednesday, September 7. By the next day, she began experiencing labor symptoms and gave birth in the early hours of Friday, September 9.

Molly, a resident of Trowell in Nottinghamshire, was completely unprepared for the birth of her baby, named “Beau.” She delivered her child at Royal Derby Hospital. In the months leading up to the birth, she had repeatedly visited doctors because she felt something was wrong.

She said: “Since late March, I had been going to the doctor many times because my weight kept fluctuating.”

Molly underwent numerous tests, including for lymphatic edema, lipedema, diabetes, and thyroid disorders, but none of the results were positive. On Monday, September 5, she had further blood tests, which showed iron deficiency and a liver issue.

A medical examination two days later revealed that Molly was 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant and on the verge of labor.

When asked whether she had been pregnant in recent months, she said: “Not at all. It never crossed my mind. I had no symptoms, no illness, nothing—just some weight gain.”
