SaedNews: A young woman who had an arrest warrant for her husband went to the police and recounted shocking incidents about him to the officers.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Fararu, the 33-year-old woman, who claimed that her butcher husband had thrown her out of the house a year ago and that she could no longer تحمل the scenes of child abuse after seeing severe skin diseases and painful wounds on the heads and bodies of her young children, told officers at North Tabarsi Police Station in Mashhad: In 2006, when I was only 15 years old, a stranger proposed to me, claiming he was a butcher with a good income. With my family’s consent, I married him and started my life.
My father-in-law had a small house, and we lived on one of its floors on the outskirts of the city. I did not get pregnant for some time until finally, after many medical treatments, I became pregnant with my first son in 2013, which made me very happy. But this happiness was short-lived, because around that time, one day criminal investigation officers entered my home with a judicial order and arrested my 32-year-old husband.
When we went to the police, I realized that my husband had been selling donkey meat to people, which was why he had been arrested. He was sentenced to one year in prison but was released after five months, with the remainder of his sentence suspended.
Until the day my husband was arrested, I was unaware of his drug addiction. After his release, he resumed drug use, and in 2014 I became pregnant with twins—a boy and a girl—who were one year younger than my eldest son.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, my eldest son could not attend school due to not having a smartphone. As a result, a year later, all three of my children enrolled in first grade together. Although they are now in third grade, they are academically very weak, and their teacher says they must retake exams in September.
The difficult living conditions and the false accusations my husband made against me after taking various pills reached a point where I could no longer continue the marriage. About a year ago, he threatened me with a knife and threw me out of the house.
I, who worked at a cleaning services company, filed a legal complaint against him with the suggestion of my father-in-law. However, my husband no longer allowed me to see my children, so I sometimes secretly went to their school to hug them, but my children, in tears, said that if their father found out, he would beat them.
Finally, amid these disputes and complaints, he agreed that I could see my children once a week. But when I embraced my sons after some time, I realized they had severe wounds and serious skin diseases. When I looked at their scalps, tears streamed down my face, and now I have also filed a complaint against my husband for child abuse.
Due to the importance of the case, and following an order issued by Major Ahmad Abkeh (head of North Tabarsi Police Station), a case file was opened and the tragic matter was placed under legal investigation.
