SAEDNEWS: The winners of the 2024 Royal Observatory Greenwich Annual Astronomy Photography Competition have been revealed. This year’s winning collection features breathtaking images of the aurora borealis, nebulae, the Sun, and the Moon that capture the beauty and wonder of the cosmos.
According to the science section of SaedNews, the Royal Observatory has been hosting its annual astronomy photography competition since 2009, which has now become the largest event of its kind in the world. The 2024 edition marks the 16th year of the competition, receiving over 3,700 entries from photographers across 58 countries.
