Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed that Tehran prioritizes diplomacy and technical cooperation to address nuclear issues, rejecting any political actions or unfair pressures that could escalate tensions.

In a phone call with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, Araghchi criticized the political atmosphere surrounding the IAEA Board of Governors and stressed that Iran’s cooperation remains strictly technical and compliant with international regulations.

The discussion covered the latest on the Iran-IAEA agreement, the snapback mechanism, and the permanent lifting of UN sanctions.
