SAEDNEWS: The Iranian Army Chief emphasized the sacrifices of soldiers and air defense martyrs, stating that enemy plots were foiled through the unity and resilience of the nation and armed forces.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Major General Amir Hatami, stated that enemies had malicious intentions and vile goals for Iran, but the great Iranian nation and armed forces, guided by the leadership of the Supreme Leader, neutralized these plots through unity, strength, and resistance.
According to SAED NEWS, on the occasion of September 1, Air Defense Day, Major General Hatami visited the families of martyrs Captain Jafar Shahbazi, Second Lieutenant Javad Shadi, Second Lieutenant Akbar Khosravi, Second Lieutenant Mohsen Ain, and Second Lieutenant Ehsan Bagheri, who were martyrs of the 12-day imposed war.
During the visit, he congratulated commanders and personnel of the Air Defense Force and commemorated the memory of the martyrs, saying: “Air Defense is at the forefront of defending the country’s skies and proved during the 12-day war that it is ready to counter threats at any level.”
Major General Hatami added that all martyrs and veterans of the recent imposed war demonstrated unparalleled sacrifice and devotion in defending the revolution and their beloved country. He emphasized that the enemies had vile intentions for Iran, but the people and armed forces, under the Supreme Leader’s guidance, thwarted these plots through unity, power, and resilience.
He noted that the martyrs, fully aware of the malicious plans of the global arrogance system to undermine Iran’s independence and national security, offered the highest form of sacrifice so that the Iranian nation could remain proud and resilient.
Major General Hatami stressed that Iran will always be indebted to the martyrs and their families, who patiently supported their spouses and children.
He also affirmed that the brave soldiers of the army, with effort, determination, and full mobilization of defensive capabilities, are ready to protect national interests and the proud Iranian nation against sworn enemies. “In the path of realizing the lofty ideals of the revolution and the martyrs, we will stand to the last breath for our beloved Iran,” he said.
The Army Chief praised the esteemed position of the martyrs’ families, stating that their prayers will accompany the true defenders of the country.
At the end of the visit, Major General Hatami presented a plaque honoring the patience, sacrifice, and resilience of the families of the martyrs.
