SAEDNEWS: An Il-76 cargo plane crashed in Sudan on Tuesday, killing all members of its crew on board.
A source told the news agency that the Soviet-era transport plane went down while attempting to land at Osman Digna Airbase, located in the Red Sea port city of Port Sudan. The aircraft had reportedly suffered a technical malfunction moments before the crash.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed that all crew members died in the accident. AFP did not specify how many people were on the flight.
