SAEDNEWS: Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has said that the resistance in Lebanon is fine, strong and ready to fight for Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence, rejecting the pressures to hand over the arms.

Missiles Can Destroy Israeli Security in a Matter of An Hour

Speaking in a televised speech on Tuesday to commemorate the martyrdom of the senior IRGC commander Brigadier Martyr General Mohammad Saeed Izadi known as Hajj Ramadan.

"We meet today to mark the 40th day after the martyrdom of Martyr General Izadi," said Sheikh Naim, adding that "General Izadi is the Iranian martyr of Palestine."

"Hajj Ramadan (Martyr General Izadi) was keen on the unity of the Palestinian factions and ensured that Hezbollah remained close to them," added the Hezbollah leader.

"Hajj Ramadan used to describe Al-Aqsa flood operation as miracle," Sheikh Naim said, adding that "he had a passion of the late Imam Khomeini as well as for Imam Khamenei."

Sheikh Qassem continued to say that "Hezbollah calls again for fastening investigations into Beirut Port explosion in order to punish the culprits."

The US envoy Tom Barrack’s proposal serves ‘Israel’ and opposes Lebanon’s need for protection, according to Hezbollah leader.

Elsewhere, he said that Resistance has never violated the truce deal between the Zionist entity and the Lebanese government.

"The US wants to prevent the Lebanese army from acquiring weapons that could affect Israel," the Hezbollah chief added.

"Who protects Lebanon if Hezbollah relinquishes arms?" he said, adding that "Israeli authorities openly declared that aggression will not stop once resistance relinquishes weapons," he further said.

"It is in Israel's interest not to move towards a full-scale war, because the resistance, the army, and the Lebanese people will defend themselves, and the missiles will hit the Zionist regime. Therefore, the security that the Zionists have created for themselves over the past 8 months will be destroyed in an hour," Sheikh Qassem continued.

The Hezbollah leader also said that "Even if we handover our weapons, the Israeli aggression will not stop."
