Iranians Poised to Celebrate Victory Alongside Their Unshakable Leader

According to Saed News, Mehdi Fazaeli—an analyst in the Leader’s Publications Office—took centre stage in a Khorramshahr special on Ofogh TV to argue that the conflict gripping the region transcends mere military engagement. He described it as a “civilisational confrontation” pitting the discourse of Islamic justice, independence and resistance against Western hegemony.

Fazaeli dismissed recent speculation in outlets such as the New York Times regarding Ayatollah Khamenei’s health, branding such reports as baseless fabrications designed solely to sow public doubt and undermine morale. “These stories have neither foundation nor value,” he insisted, pointing out that their very existence signals a deep bond between the nation and its leader—one the enemy seeks to corrode through relentless psychological operations.

Emphasising that the Iran–Western theatre encompasses both kinetic and media fronts, the analyst warned that adversaries flout ethical norms in both spheres. He urged citizens to arm themselves with knowledge and critical analysis as the best defence against disinformation. “This is not merely a military clash,” Fazaeli declared, “but a contest of civilisations.”

Closing his remarks, Fazaeli reaffirmed Iran’s determination to repel aggression, citing recent operations—such as Promise of Truth 3 and Glad Tidings of Victory—as swift and deterrent responses to Israel and America. While conceding that the precise duration of the struggle is unknowable, he stressed that both the armed forces and the populace remain on perpetual alert: “We did not initiate the war, but we will defend ourselves for as long as necessary.”
