White House Denies the Rrelease of an Intelligence Assessment Report on the Failure of Attacks Against Iran’s Nuclear Facilities

According to Saed news, Caroline Lewitt, White House spokesperson, on Tuesday local time, in response to CNN’s report on the U.S. intelligence assessment indicating the failure of attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, claimed:
“This alleged assessment is completely wrong and was classified as ‘top secret,’ but it was leaked to CNN by an anonymous low-level individual in the intelligence community who is the real loser.”

The White House spokesperson angrily condemned the leak of this assessment and the claim that Iran’s nuclear facilities were not destroyed, saying:
“The leak of this assessment is a blatant attempt to humiliate President Trump and discredit the brave fighter pilots who executed a flawless mission to destroy Iran’s nuclear program.”

CNN, affiliated with Democrats and opponents of Trump, reported Tuesday local time that according to an initial U.S. intelligence assessment—based on information from four knowledgeable sources—the U.S. military attacks on three Iranian nuclear sites (Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan) failed to destroy the core parts of Iran’s nuclear program and probably only delayed it by a few months.

This previously unreported assessment was prepared by the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)—the Pentagon’s intelligence body. According to one informed source, the report is based on a war damage assessment conducted by the U.S. Central Command following the airstrikes on Iran.

A full analysis of the extent of damage to these sites and the impact of the attacks on Iran’s nuclear program is still ongoing. However, the initial findings contradict repeated claims by U.S. President Donald Trump, who said the attacks “completely destroyed Iran’s enrichment facilities.”

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also stated Sunday that “Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been eliminated.”

CNN added that two sources familiar with the assessment said Iran’s stockpiles of enriched uranium were not destroyed. One said, “The centrifuges remain largely intact.”

He added: “The DIA assessment is that the U.S. ultimately only delayed their program by a few months, no more.”

On Monday local time, U.S. President Donald Trump, reiterating his claims about the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities despite no reliable assessment of the damage yet, stated:
“The facilities we targeted in Iran were completely destroyed, and everyone knows it. Only the fake news presents a different narrative trying to humiliate as much as possible and even (surprisingly) claim that these facilities are ‘completely intact!’”

Trump then named reporters from major American media, saying:
“Allison Cooper from fake news CNN, Brian L. Roberts, the fool, CEO of Comcast, Jon Karl from fake news ABC, and of course the perennial losers at fake NBC, which is also owned by Comcast, are especially working hard on this lie.”

Trump then attacked the American media questioning his claims about the nuclear facility strikes, saying:
“This situation will never end with incompetent people in the media, and that is why their ratings are at the lowest level, their credibility is zero!”
