SAEDNEWS: A major water-supply rupture and contamination incident in the occupied Palestinian town of Kfar Yehoshua has left thousands of households without running water for more than two days, prompting growing public anger and forcing the Zionist regime to form an emergency task force.
According to an announcement by the Israeli regime’s water company, a “complex and unusual technical failure” caused the burst of the town’s main supply line, with officials initially claiming the disruption would be resolved within a few hours.
However, the following day, the company reported that its technicians had been working around the clock, but the problem was far more complicated than first stated. The rupture was accompanied by an unidentified contamination of the municipal water. The company, along with relevant authorities, other water firms, and the health ministry, was still trying to locate the source of the contamination and determine the cause of the pump-station malfunction.

The company’s inability to resolve the issue has sparked strong criticism among local residents. One resident told local media that the company had promised a short outage but was now saying the water would remain contaminated even after service was restored. The resident questioned how such a vital system could lack an emergency backup plan, whether through regional reservoirs or other contingencies.

Another resident argued that 48 hours without water exposed the hollowness of claims about the Israeli regime’s technological advancement, saying, “Everything officials tell us about progress is a complete lie.”

Amid the water company’s failure to contain the crisis, the Zionist regime has formed an emergency task force to address the situation.
