SAEDNEWS: The American network, citing U.S. intelligence assessments, reported: “The U.S. attacks failed to penetrate deep into Fordow. Many centrifuges in this facility remain intact. Iran’s nuclear facilities are still operational and have not been destroyed.”

CNN: Iran’s Nuclear Facilities Remain Operational and Have Not Been Destroyed

According to Saednews, following the aggressive action by the United States against Iran, U.S. officials, including President Donald Trump, in an effort to claim a political victory, described the U.S. attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities as "successful" and claimed that "all of Iran’s nuclear facilities have been destroyed."

However, the American network CNN, citing U.S. intelligence assessments, reported: "The U.S. military attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only delayed it by several months."

The American network added: "This previously unreported assessment was prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on war damage assessments conducted by the U.S. Central Command after the U.S. attacks."

CNN continued in its report: "The initial findings contradict the repeated claims of President Donald Trump that the attacks 'completely and absolutely destroyed' Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities."

The network, citing two informed sources, added: "Iran’s enriched uranium stocks have not been destroyed. The centrifuges remain largely intact. The United States may have delayed Iran’s nuclear program by at most a few months."

Despite CNN’s report, White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt responded to the network, calling the report "top secret" and "alleged."

The American network also noted, referring to the U.S. military’s claim of success in their “operation” against Iran, that “it is still too early for the United States to have a comprehensive picture of the impact of these attacks.”

According to informed sources, “While U.S. B-2 bombers dropped more than 12 bombs on two nuclear sites—the Fordow fuel enrichment plant and the Natanz enrichment complex—these bombs did not completely destroy the centrifuges or the highly enriched uranium.”

The American network cited its sources as saying: “Instead, the impact at all three sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—was largely limited to the above-ground structures, which were heavily damaged.”

Two separate informed sources told CNN that due to uncertainty over “the level of success of the U.S. operation against Iran and the high likelihood that the targeted facilities remain intact,” a briefing for all House lawmakers has also been postponed.

In this regard, Democrat Representative Pat Ryan wrote on the social network X on Tuesday: “Trump canceled the classified House briefing on the Iran attacks without any explanation. The real reason? He claims he 'destroyed all nuclear facilities and capabilities'; his team knows they cannot support his bragging and nonsense.”

CNN also wrote: “Notably, instead of using bunker-buster bombs, the U.S. attacked Isfahan with Tomahawk missiles fired from a submarine. The reason is the understanding that bunker-buster bombs would not successfully penetrate the lower levels of Isfahan, which are buried even deeper than Fordow.”

According to two informed sources, U.S. officials believe that Iran has also preserved secret nuclear facilities, and neither the U.S. nor Israel knows the locations of these sites.
