SAEDNEWS: The representative of Iran to the United Nations rejected the Israeli prime minister’s accusations as baseless, warning that the regime’s unchecked aggression endangers regional peace and must be stopped.
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, September 26, 2025
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Madam President,
It is deeply regrettable that an individual “wanted” by the International Criminal Court was allowed to address this body—an individual responsible for the deaths of countless innocent civilians. This is a profound affront to peace, justice, and humanity.
The Israeli regime, from its inception, has been founded on aggression, occupation, oppression, apartheid, and terror. In the past two years alone, it has attacked Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, and Qatar. Its leadership’s declaration to pursue “Greater Israel” threatens further invasions. This regime is the principal source of insecurity and instability in West Asia.
Unchecked, Israel will continue to escalate violence. In the past 24 months, it has killed over 65,000 Palestinian civilians in Gaza and wounded nearly 180,000. It uses starvation, forced displacement, and daily violence as tools of war. Palestinian journalists are targeted, with nearly 250 killed in two years—exceeding casualties in several historic wars. Israel also continues terrorist operations across the region.
Regarding Iran,
Israel’s June 2025 12-day aggression against Iran killed over 1,000 scientists, officials, and civilians, including more than 170 women and children. These acts are material breaches of international law, including the prohibition on the use of force enshrined in the UN Charter.
These attacks were justified by false claims against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. The International Atomic Energy Agency confirms no diversion of nuclear material for weapons. Even U.S. intelligence acknowledged that Iran remains undecided on nuclear weaponization. Meanwhile, Israel’s clandestine nuclear arsenal poses the true threat to regional and global peace.
All accusations by Israel against Iran are rejected. They are distractions from its systematic crimes, including aggression, genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Deception and disinformation are embedded in this regime’s conduct but cannot conceal its brutal record.
Conclusion
The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the inherent right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and resistance against occupation. It affirms the right of all regional states to defend themselves. Iran will vigorously protect its territory, people, and vital interests against aggression. The United Nations must act decisively to prevent further crimes and uphold peace, security, and justice.
