SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Parastoo Habibi claimed a silver medal in the Women's Club Throw - F32 of the 2024 Paralympic Games Friday night.

According to SAEDNEWS, Iran’s Parastoo Habibi clinched a silver medal in the Women's Club Throw - F32 category at the 2024 Paralympic Games on Friday night.

Initially finishing in third place with a throw of 26.29 meters, the gold medal went to Poland's Roza Kozakowska with a throw of 31.30 meters, while Tunisia's Maroua Ibrahmi captured silver with 29.00 meters. However, following a review, Habibi was awarded the silver medal, highlighting the evolving nature of competition results.

In addition, taekwondo athlete Zahra Rahimi also secured a silver medal for Iran on Thursday night. The athletics events are taking place at Stade de France in Paris, where Iran has sent a delegation of 65 athletes across 10 sports to compete in these prestigious games.
