According to the Saed News social affairs service, the Eiffel Tower, which is considered the symbol of the city of Paris and the country of France, is one of the most important metal structures in the world. Until 1930, it was known as the tallest structure in the world. This famous tourist attraction was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991 along with its surrounding areas. The tower’s appeal is not limited to its appearance; restaurants such as Le Jules Verne, numerous souvenir shops, and observation platforms with views of beautiful Paris have made it a top priority for tourists visiting France.

The entirely metal Eiffel Tower is located in the city of Paris, northwest of the Champ de Mars Park, and hosts many visitors every day. When the company of Gustave Eiffel built Paris’s most famous structure for the 1889 World’s Fair (Exposition Universelle) and the centennial of the French Revolution, many people viewed this massive iron monument with doubt and skepticism. Before construction was completed, the tower was at the center of much debate, and major figures in art and literature such as Charles Gounod, Guy de Maupassant, and François Coppée criticized it heavily.

The height of this remarkable tower changes with the seasons; in summer, due to the expansion of iron, the tower grows a few inches taller, and in winter it returns to its original height.
