The Strangest Divorce Of The Century: "My Husband Doesn't Want To Work, So I Said Let's Get A Divorce. He Packed His Things And Went To His Mother's House..."

According to SAEDNEWS, Minou has chosen to end her marriage and has independently moved forward with the divorce process, sharing the reasons that led her to this decision.

How many years have you been living with your husband?

We got married three years ago.

Why do you want to separate from him?

My husband doesn’t go to work. He says he doesn’t like being around others. He wants me to work and take care of our life.

Do you work?

Yes. I’m a bank employee. My salary is good, and it covers my life expenses, but when my husband says I don’t work, it costs me a lot.

Why doesn’t he work?

He says he doesn’t like working for others. He doesn’t want to accept the challenges of freelancing either. He says he doesn’t like talking to others all the time and explaining things.

Do you have children?

No.

When you got married, did your husband work?

Yes. At that time, he worked in a company. Six months after our marriage, he left the company and didn’t work anymore. I even found a few jobs for him, but he didn’t go.

During this time, did you cover the living expenses?

Yes. I did, but I’m tired of it now. He tells me to take out a loan from the bank, and we should buy a house because he’s tired of renting. He doesn’t even cover his own expenses.

Have you told his family about this?

I’ve talked to his parents a few times. They say there’s nothing they can do. They told me they would help monthly, but I don’t want their help. My husband needs to work. He must take responsibility for our life.

Now you’ve come here alone for the divorce. Why?

I have the right to divorce. I took the initiative to file for divorce and informed my husband. He took his things and went to his mother’s house.

What will you do after the divorce?

I’ll take some time for myself and then accept whatever comes my way.
