SAEDNEWS: Bactymaid is used to treat conjunctivitis and other superficial eye infections caused by sensitive microorganisms. Additionally, sulfacetamide prevents the further growth of gram-positive organisms and a variety of gram-negative organisms, such as certain types of Pseudomonas bacteria.
According to SAEDNEWS, Bactymaid sterile eye drops are used to treat superficial eye infections caused by sensitive organisms, inclusion conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, and trachoma.
This medication is also used for the prevention or prophylaxis of eye infections.
Side Effects of Bactymaid
Like all medications, Bactymaid may cause unwanted side effects alongside its intended therapeutic effects. While not all of these side effects are observed in every individual, consult your treating doctor if any of the following occur:
Eye: Blurred vision, temporary eye stinging, redness, epithelial keratitis.
Other: Hypersensitivity reactions, headache, Stevens-Johnson syndrome (rare), light sensitivity.
