SAEDNEWS: Zelensky Says Presidential Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak Has Submitted Resignation After Anti-Corruption Probe
According to SaedNews’ political desk, Yermak, long regarded as one of President Zelensky’s most influential advisers, had led Ukraine’s negotiating team with the United States in recent diplomatic efforts to find a political solution to the conflict with Russia.
Zelensky announced that the Chief of the General Staff and other senior officials will now represent Ukraine in talks with the United States.
The Ukrainian president concluded, saying: “Russia desperately wants Ukraine to make a mistake. We will make no mistakes.”
Earlier, Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported via Telegram that the country’s anti-corruption agencies had raided the office of Andriy Yermak.

On November 10, two anti-corruption agencies launched a major operation known as “MIDAS” to uncover a large-scale corruption scheme in Ukraine’s energy sector.
The offices of businessman Timur Mindich, former Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko—who has since been dismissed—and the state-owned company Energoatom were searched.
Investigators say those involved in the criminal scheme laundered at least $100 million. That same day, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau began releasing segments of recorded conversations from Mindich’s apartment, where corruption plans had been discussed. In total, there are 1,000 hours of recorded audio.
On November 11, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau issued its first charges against Mindich as the head of a criminal organization, as well as against former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov, who remains close to Zelensky. Mindich left Ukraine for Israel just hours before the raids took place.
On November 17, reports emerged suggesting that Yermak may have appeared on the recordings from Mindich’s apartment under the alias “Ali Baba.”
