SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the urgent need for a unified and resolute stance from the Islamic community to counter the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime.
In a pivotal phone conversation on Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi voiced strong condemnation of what they described as the Israeli regime’s criminal actions — warning that such behavior highlights a blatant disregard for international laws and regional boundaries.
According to the Iranian Presidency’s official website, President Pezeshkian denounced the recent aggression against Hamas leaders in Qatar, calling it a clear act of hostility that demands a firm, united response from the Islamic world.
“The Israeli regime follows no framework, no rules. It strikes wherever it wishes, with no consideration for international norms,” Pezeshkian emphasized.
The Iranian leader also expressed appreciation for Egypt’s constructive role in Iran’s nuclear negotiations, noting Cairo’s efforts toward a comprehensive agreement. He praised El-Sisi’s firm stance against Israeli aggression, stressing that the broader Islamic community should draw inspiration from the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to resist further hostilities.
As part of strengthening ties, Pezeshkian invited President El-Sisi to visit Iran, voicing hope for deeper bilateral relations and stronger cohesion across the Islamic world.
For his part, President El-Sisi welcomed the dialogue and congratulated Iran on its recent agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) — calling it a clear demonstration of Tehran’s sincerity and goodwill in pursuing regional stability and peace.
Rejecting any military solution to Iran’s nuclear issue, El-Sisi strongly condemned Israeli attacks on Qatar and underscored Egypt’s opposition to aggression against any Islamic nation.
He further stressed that the Israeli regime’s recent actions reveal the urgent need for a collective, decisive response to counter its expansionist ambitions in the Middle East.
