SAEDNEWS: More than 100 Palestinians have been killed following Israeli airstrikes on a school sheltering displaced people in the east of the Gaza Strip.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a devastating report from Palestine's official WAFA news agency, more than 100 individuals were killed, and dozens more injured on Saturday morning following a bombing by Israeli forces at the al-Tabi’in school, located in the al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City.
According to local sources, the bombing occurred as citizens were gathered to perform the dawn prayer, known as Fajr. The media office in Gaza highlighted that the Israeli strikes specifically targeted displaced individuals during this sacred time, leading to a significant rise in casualties.
The Gaza government media office described the attack as part of a broader campaign of "genocide and ethnic cleansing" against the Palestinian people. They emphasized that the sheer scale of the devastation has hampered medical teams from recovering all the bodies of the victims.
In a strongly-worded statement, the media office condemned the attack and urged the global community to take a firm stance against these actions, holding both the Israeli regime and the U.S. administration accountable for this catastrophic incident.
They reiterated the urgent need for international pressure on Israel to halt its ongoing aggression and protect Palestinian civilians, calling for an end to the bloodshed and a commitment to safeguarding human rights in the region.
