SAEDNEWS: The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has hailed the enhanced level of precision and surgical strike capabilities that have been incorporated into the force’s new equipment.
According to SAEDNEWS, In a recent ceremony in the southwestern port city of Bandar Abbas, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri announced the integration of an impressive 2,654 new missile systems, drones, and various advanced military equipment into the naval forces, according to Press TV.
During his address, Tangsiri emphasized the significance of innovation and technical originality in the new arsenal. He noted, "We have witnessed enhanced precision, target acquisition, and surgical strike capabilities in these pieces of equipment and systems."
The Commander highlighted that these advancements incorporate smart features and leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology throughout their manufacturing processes. Among the notable additions to the naval fleet are radar-evading cruise missiles equipped with high-explosive warheads, designed to deliver devastating strikes capable of sinking enemy destroyers.
The new arsenal also includes a range of long-range and medium-range missiles, as well as combat and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with exceptional electronic warfare capabilities. A standout feature is a newly launched silent drone, further bolstering Iran’s technological edge in modern warfare.
Tangsiri remarked, “Improvement in confidence in deployment of these pieces of equipment in the field of electronic warfare has increased their capability,” underscoring the advancements made.
Amid ongoing sanctions, Iran continues to prioritize domestic innovation and expertise, making significant strides toward self-sufficiency in its armed forces. Aligning with the directives of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iranian officials have reiterated their commitment to bolstering military capabilities that are strictly defensive in nature and thus non-negotiable.
