This crispy and tasty pastry is perfect for gatherings, parties, or even now as we approach Nowruz. You can easily make this delightful treat at home using phyllo dough. One of the key ingredients is egg yolk, and this recipe simplifies the process without requiring an oven.
Phyllo dough: 1 pack
Honey: 2 tablespoons
Water: 1 tablespoon
Sugar: 1 tablespoon
Remove the phyllo dough from its packaging and sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
Place the dough on the surface and roll it out with a rolling pin to achieve the size needed for Zaban Pastry.
Trim the edges with a sharp knife to make the dough rectangular.
In a bowl, mix water and honey until well combined.
Use a pastry brush to evenly coat the surface of the dough with the honey mixture.
