Recipe for Delicious Local Ab Kashk(whey)

Local Ab Kashk is a product made from cow and sheep milk, used in the preparation of various foods. To learn the complete recipe for local Ab Kashk, stay with Saed News.

Ingredients for Local Ab Kashk:

  • 2 cups of thick, ground local Kashk (whey)

  • 1 onion

  • 1/2 tablespoon of fried garlic

  • 4 crushed walnuts

  • 1 tablespoon of dried mint

  • Turmeric and black pepper (to taste)

  • Oil (as needed)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of thyme

Preparation Method:

  1. Finely chop the onion and fry it well in oil. Once the onions are golden, add the fried garlic, dried mint, thyme, turmeric, black pepper, and crushed walnuts to the pan.

  2. After about a minute, add the ground Ab Kashk to the mixture. Increase the heat to bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.

  3. For decoration, you can garnish with fried mint and walnuts.
