Iranian and Tajik Presidents Condemn Israeli and U.S. Military Aggression

SAEDNEWS: The President of Iran emphasized expanding bilateral relations and passing shared cultural heritage to the new generation during a meeting with the Tajik President, while condemning Israeli and U.S. military aggression.

According to Saed News, the President of Iran stressed that the shared history of Iran and Tajikistan is a glorious heritage that must be passed on to new generations.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 31, 2025 (10 Shahrivar 1404), Masoud Pezeshkian met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. He expressed satisfaction with frequent meetings and contacts between the two countries’ leaders aimed at strengthening friendship and brotherhood between two historically and culturally connected nations. He emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation and ensuring that the shared glorious past of Iran and Tajikistan is remembered by the younger generation.

Emomali Rahmon and Pezeshkian

The Iranian President noted that interactions between Tehran and Dushanbe in recent years have always been positive and expanding. Cooperation in transit, trade, tourism, science, and people-to-people communications has been steadily growing.

In another part of his remarks, Pezeshkian pointed out that the Israeli regime, with the green light and support of the U.S., is committing maximum crimes in Gaza, Palestine, and other parts of the region. He stressed that Israel is committing some of the worst atrocities in Gaza and that Islamic countries, as well as regional and international organizations, must prevent the continuation of these crimes by all possible means.

President Rahmon also emphasized the desire to expand and deepen bilateral relations, especially in economic, investment, and people-to-people sectors, while strongly condemning the military aggression of Israel and the United States against Iran.

Rahmon expressed satisfaction with constructive cooperation between the two countries at bilateral, regional, and international levels, including within international organizations and frameworks, and praised Iran’s historical, cultural, scientific, and civilizational significance.
