Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Pledge Continued Support for Government and National Development

According to Saed News, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) described the deep bond between the government, the people, and the armed forces as the guarantor of a strong and advanced Iran, stressing that its priority remains the preservation and enhancement of the country’s defensive and security capabilities in the face of complex regional dynamics and emerging threats.

In a statement issued on Sunday on the occasion of Government Week, the IRGC congratulated all state officials and actors committed to the dignity, progress, and prosperity of Iran, while recalling the legacy of service embodied by the martyred leaders Mohammad-Ali Rajai, Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, and Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi. The statement emphasized that Government Week is an opportunity to revisit and uphold the model of faithful and selfless service they left behind.

Highlighting today’s complex regional and global environment, the IRGC underscored that, under the wise leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran continues its path of progress and dignity with strength, relying on the faith, insight, and resilience of its people. It praised the efforts of the 14th government in meeting the nation’s needs, while pointing to its effective support for the armed forces during the recent 12-day sacred defense against the Zionist regime and the United States, describing it as a clear example of state-military synergy in safeguarding Iran and the resistance front.

The IRGC reaffirmed that assisting the government and contributing to national development remain fundamental missions alongside its security and defense responsibilities. Over four decades of experience, the statement noted, demonstrate the Corps’ decisive role in infrastructure development, poverty alleviation, and improving livelihoods. This strategic path, the IRGC declared, will continue with greater determination under the 14th government.
