According to SAEDNEWS, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the commander of Iran's Navy, stated that the Islamic Republic has become strong enough that it is no longer afraid of confronting any powers in the Persian Gulf.
Speaking at a naval base ceremony on Monday, Irani highlighted the significant accomplishments of the Iranian armed forces since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. He noted that during the revolution and the eight years of the Sacred Defense, the Navy focused mainly on controlling the Persian Gulf. However, in recent years, it has expanded its operations into international waters.
