SAEDNEWS: Iranian Air Force pilots played a decisive role in thwarting Israeli air attacks during the 12-day conflict, demonstrating courage, coordination, and readiness at all times.
According to Saed News; During the recent 12-day conflict with Israel, Iran’s Air Force demonstrated exceptional courage and operational efficiency. Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the Iranian Air Force, detailed the actions of pilots and technical staff in defending the nation’s skies.
Vahedi stated that only minutes after Israel’s attacks began, fighter pilots from Shahid Babaei Air Base in Isfahan and other bases were already airborne, conducting patrols, reconnaissance missions, and scramble operations against both manned and unmanned enemy aircraft. Several advanced drones were successfully shot down during multiple stages of the conflict.
“The response from the integrated air defense network was immediate,” Vahedi emphasized. Pilots repeatedly intercepted enemy flights, preventing them from achieving their objectives. Even those on leave quickly returned to their units and joined combat missions, showing unwavering dedication.
Vahedi highlighted that all operations were carried out with the same spirit of sacrifice demonstrated by Air Force martyrs such as Babaei, Setari, Ardastani, and Doran. These efforts mirrored the courage seen during the 8-year Iran-Iraq War, reflecting a strong sense of unity and resilience among all personnel.
In addition to combat efforts, the Air Force medical teams played a vital role in treating casualties. Hospitals and medical centers were quickly mobilized, with operating rooms and wards activated to provide care for the wounded. This rapid readiness ensured all injured personnel received timely treatment.
Vahedi concluded that the 12-day war demonstrated the full operational and human capacity of the Iranian Air Force. From skilled pilots to diligent technical staff and medical teams, the force acted as a cohesive unit, successfully defending the nation’s airspace against a well-equipped adversary.
