A young woman named Berliz from Callao, Peru recently told reporters that her doll, named Daisy, which she received as a Christmas gift from her mother, seems to be jealous of her—and as a result, harms those close to her.
According to Berliz, Daisy’s latest victim was her fiancé, whose relationship with her reportedly fell apart due to the doll’s interference. Berliz also described how Daisy moves on her own, makes noises, and even breaks objects, leading her to believe the doll is fiercely competitive and jealous of her.
Berliz shared specific incidents to illustrate the doll’s strange behavior. On one occasion, when her father hugged her in her room, the lights suddenly went out. She also said that years ago, when her cousin was in her room to sleep, she suddenly ran outside, claiming that several objects had been thrown at her by an unseen force.
To protect herself at night, Berliz said she turns Daisy’s face toward the wall so the doll cannot watch her—but even then, when she wakes up, Daisy has apparently turned back toward her.
