Ingredients
(Puff pastry, ham, cheese, bell pepper, corn – quantities as needed)
Instructions for a Quick and Delicious Ham Croissant
As mentioned, this ham croissant is made using simple and easily available ingredients. Note that puff pastry has a different preparation process compared to other doughs. If you want to make it at home, you need to start from the day before and allow more time. It is recommended to use ready-made puff pastry for a quicker result.
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
Start by preparing the filling. Take the puff pastry out and let it sit at room temperature until it softens. Chop several slices of ham into small cubes (or leave them whole or halved based on your preference). Dice one bell pepper. In a bowl, mix the ham and bell pepper with some corn.
Step 2: Shape the Croissants
Place the puff pastry on a flat surface and cut it into long isosceles triangles. Add the filling at the base of each triangle. Place half a slice of cheese (or shredded mozzarella) on the base. Then add 1–2 tablespoons of the prepared mixture on top of the cheese. Starting from the base, roll the dough toward the tip of the triangle to form a croissant. Repeat for the remaining pieces.

Step 3: Bake the Croissants
Arrange the croissants on a baking tray and place them in the oven or toaster oven. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes. Your ham croissants will be ready in less than an hour. If you prefer to serve them as finger food, simply cut the puff pastry into smaller triangles before shaping. Enjoy!
