SAEDNEWS: The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council stressed that the United States must take confidence-building measures before any negotiations can begin.
According to Saednews, Iran will not enter negotiations with the United States until Washington takes concrete steps to build trust, Major General Mohsen Rezaei said on Tuesday.
In a post on his official X account, Rezaei stressed that Iranian officials and the public share a unified position against negotiations without confidence-building measures from Washington.
During a meeting in Tehran later that day with Pakistan’s visiting Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, Rezaei also firmly rejected calls for Iran to give up its enriched uranium.
“Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran,” he declared, dismissing demands repeatedly raised by American officials.
“All enriched nuclear material will remain in Iran, and not a single particle will leave the country,” Rezaei stated.
He described the material as a valuable national asset and a source of wealth for the Iranian people, intended for domestic use.
