SAEDNEWS: Donald Trump said he expects to get along well with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and claimed he plans to meet him this year. He also said talks with Iran could potentially resume at a later time.
According to SaedNews: Donald Trump said his positive relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was a good thing, claiming that he knows him very well.
Trump also claimed that Kim Jong Un possesses 57 highly powerful nuclear weapons, adding that such a situation should never have been allowed to occur. He reiterated that he gets along very well with the North Korean leader and said he would meet Kim sometime this year.
Meanwhile, Kim Yo Jong, the North Korean leader’s sister, said today that she was unaware of any recent contact between the leaders of the United States and North Korea.
In response to a reporter who asked whether negotiations with Iran would resume, Trump said they might restart at some point, but maintained that the current situation was going well. He added that talks could perhaps resume later.
