SAEDNEWS: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi met with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing, stressing the need to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries. He also discussed regional security, the Strait of Hormuz and international cooperation.

Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, met with his Chinese counterpart during his visit to Beijing for bilateral consultations and emphasized the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between Iran and China.

The two sides marked the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations and stressed expanding cooperation based on mutual respect and opposition to unilateralism.

Referring to recent attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime, Gharibabadi said Iran had imposed significant defeats on the attackers through what he described as remarkable resistance.

The talks also covered regional peace and security, developments related to the Strait of Hormuz, and expanding cooperation in international forums, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
