According to SAEDNEWS, Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, while claiming that diplomacy is the first option regarding Iran, said that progress has been made in negotiations with Iran.
Rubio said on Wednesday local time during Trump’s cabinet meeting, in response to a question about the latest status of negotiations with Iran, that he feels “some progress” has been achieved in the talks with Iran and that more information will be provided in “the next few hours and days.”
Rubio, who was seated to the right of Donald Trump, repeated threats and claimed that if the negotiations do not lead to the result desired by the United States, the president also has “other options” available.
