SAEDNEWS: Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem thanked Iran for its support for Lebanon, stressing that the battlefield proved decisive and that successful policy must draw its strength from its outcomes.
According to the political service of Saed News Agency, and citing the Al Mayadeen Network, SHEIKH NAIM QASSEM said that establishing a ceasefire would have been impossible without the “legendary performance” of the fighters.
He added that successful politics is one that derives power from the field and forces the enemy to grant Lebanon its rights.
The Secretary-General of HEZBOLLAH further stated that the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s statement regarding negotiations between Lebanon and the ISRAELI REGIME was meaningless and an insult to Lebanon.
Sheikh Naim Qassem added that a ceasefire means the complete halt of all hostile actions by the enemy, and because they do not trust the enemy, the fighters’ hands remain on the trigger.
He said that a unilateral ceasefire imposed on the resistance is unacceptable, stressing that a ceasefire must be mutual between both sides of the war.
Hezbollah’s Secretary-General continued that they will not accept a path of fifteen months of restraint in the face of Israeli aggression while waiting for diplomacy that has produced no results.
He added that it is an insult to Lebanon to impose direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy and to accept its dictates.
Sheikh Naim Qassem said that HEZBOLLAH is ready for maximum cooperation with the Lebanese government to open a new page aimed at achieving the country’s independence and sovereignty.
He also expressed gratitude to the heroes of the resistance who repelled the Israeli advance despite the deployment of one hundred thousand soldiers along the borders.
He further thanked IRAN, stating that it conditioned the ceasefire on ending the war in Lebanon and blocked the Strait of Hormuz.
Hezbollah’s Secretary-General added that the Lebanese government did not hold any meeting and did not approve the U.S. State Department’s statement regarding the ceasefire between Lebanon and the ISRAELI REGIME.
Sheikh Naim Qassem concluded that Lebanon will rise through unity, solidarity, and cooperation between the army, the people, the resistance, and the government, all of whom seek the country’s independence and liberation.
