SAEDNEWS: Cyber Group Hanzala Exposes Information of Israeli Regime’s “Squadron 166” Chief
According to Saed News, citing Fars, the Hanzeleh Cyber Group announced: “Does anyone know Vered Haimovich? What role do you think he plays in the Israeli security structure?”
Haimovich is a retired colonel of the Israeli Air Force—but that’s just the beginning. With years of operational experience and technical expertise, he was personally appointed by Eyal Zamir, Chief of the Israeli Defense Forces, as the head of the ultra-classified “Squadron 166.”

This squadron lies at the core of planning and managing drone attacks, particularly against strategic targets such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, with Haimovich personally overseeing all operations.
At the same time, he is responsible for developing Israel’s drone projects and is recognized as the mastermind and manager of the Hermes drone design teams at Elbit Systems. His name is closely linked to the regime’s most critical drone and security projects.
