SAEDNEWS: American Democratic Senator Strongly Criticizes Defense Secretary for Firing U.S. Generals
According to SaedNews and Khabar Online, U.S. Democratic Senator Chris Murphy reacted to recent Pentagon dismissals, claiming that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is currently removing many experienced generals to silence their opposition to his plans for a war with Iran.
As reported by ISNA, Murphy posted on X (formerly Twitter) that these seasoned generals had warned Hegseth that his war plans against Iran are unfeasible, disastrous, and deadly. Meanwhile, Hegseth has been carrying out widespread dismissals of veteran generals.
Reuters further reports that in his latest move, Hegseth removed two more generals, David Hadden and William Green Jr., along with Randy George, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, from their positions.
