SAEDNEWS: According to an AFP analysis, diesel prices in France reached a new record on Sunday as the war in the Middle East disrupted global oil supplies.
According to Saednews, At 10:30 a.m. local time, the average price of diesel in France reached €2.41 per liter, setting a new record. AFP calculated the figure using prices reported by more than 8,700 service stations on the French Economy Ministry’s website.
The previous record, set just one day earlier, was surpassed.
SP95-E10, France’s most widely sold petrol grade, was priced at more than €2.17 per liter on Sunday morning, according to data from over 6,700 service stations. Its average price has remained above the previous 2022 peak for more than 10 consecutive days.
Meanwhile, the average price of SP98 petrol also rose above €2.28 per liter on Sunday, based on figures from more than 6,800 service stations.
