SAEDNEWS: Reports from Syria’s northern Quneitra countryside say Israeli forces advanced toward Jabata al-Khashab village, searched homes and detained two Syrian citizens. Witnesses said the operation took place without prior warning.
According to SaedNews: News sources in northern Quneitra province reported on Wednesday that Israeli forces moved toward the village of Jabata al-Khashab and carried out extensive searches.
According to the reports, after entering the village, Israeli troops inspected several residential houses separately and detained two Syrian citizens. The identities and current status of the two individuals have not been officially disclosed.
Local witnesses told reporters that Israeli forces entered the village with military vehicles without prior warning, surrounded the area and began conducting searches. Residents spoke of fear and concern over the possibility of similar incursions happening again.
