SAEDNEWS: Lebanese sources reported new Israeli airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, while Israeli forces also carried out artillery attacks and systematic destruction. Lebanese MP Qassem Hashem said the daily Israeli activity does not constitute a ceasefire.
According to SaedNews: Lebanese sources reported that Israeli warplanes struck Al-Tahir Heights as well as the areas of Al-Qantara and Doha Kafr Rumman in southern Lebanon.
Throughout the previous day, Israeli forces carried out air and artillery attacks and systematic destruction across several parts of Lebanon. Around noon, Israeli troops blew up public water storage tanks belonging to the Al-Mashaa Al-Mansouri area, cutting off the water supply to the entire region. Hours earlier, Israeli aircraft had struck Al-Mansouri and Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese MP Qassem Hashem said the Israeli military activity taking place every day in southern Lebanon cannot be considered a ceasefire. He called for a comprehensive ceasefire to be consolidated and for Israel to fully withdraw from the occupied territories.
According to the Voice of All Lebanon radio, Hashem said recent developments in southern Lebanon showed that the current situation did not amount to a genuine ceasefire. He stressed that the daily events taking place in the south remain far removed from the real meaning of a ceasefire.
