According to SaedNews: A diplomatic source at the Foreign Ministry of the Jolani government revealed new details about the recent Israeli attack on Abu al-Duhur Airport in eastern Idlib, saying the strike was carried out despite Israel’s knowledge that no foreign forces were stationed at the facility.

The unnamed source said Israel had received information through indirect channels that there were no foreign troops at Abu al-Duhur Airport. Despite this, the source said, Israel launched an air attack against the civilian airport.
The official described the move as an “obvious violation of international law and Syria’s national sovereignty,” saying it reflected what he called Israel’s ongoing hostile policy toward Syria’s vital infrastructure.
The diplomatic source also completely rejected reports suggesting a possible agreement between Syria and Israel over “a specific security reality,” saying such claims were entirely baseless.
