SAEDNEWS: Seyed Mohammad Marandi, a political analyst, has claimed that command of military operations against Iran has recently shifted from the United States to Israel.
According to SAEDNEWS, Marandi stated that since the beginning of this week, leadership of the attacks has been transferred from Washington to the Israeli government, with U.S. forces now acting according to plans set by Israel.
Marandi made the remarks while discussing the situation around the Strait of Hormuz, where he said Iran continues to maintain “smart control” over the strategic waterway while not yet using its full military capabilities. He also claimed that the United States has so far failed to reopen the strait.

He added that following the shift in operational command, the focus of the campaign has intensified on several areas, including the targeted assassination of key political figures, attacks on energy and critical infrastructure, and strikes on security checkpoints.
Marandi also alleged that another component of the strategy involved attempts to spark unrest inside Iran on the eve of the Persian fire festival, Chaharshanbe Suri. According to him, calls for protests circulated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and exiled Iranian figure Reza Pahlavi failed after large public gatherings prevented the effort from gaining traction.
